Genesis of TAAMS

TAAMS – Tamil Nadu Adi Andhra Arunthathia Maha Sabha a people’s movement was initiated and facilitated byJanodayam in the year 2000. The mission of Janodayam was completed through initiating TAAMS by Mr. Gollapalli Israel – Founder of TAAMS had brought the Adi Andhras associations under one banner.Adi Andhras are the lowest sub-section of Schedule caste, poorest among poor; due to their illiteracy, low economic conditions and they are politically powerless and socially backward people. The Adi Andhras are living in 132 slums of Chennai and in and around, neighboring municipality areas of Tamil Nadu is around 6, 00,000 populations.
